Odds are shown in three formats. Decimal format is the easiest to understand — for example, if you bet ৳1,000 on Team A at odds of 3.00 and win, you get back ৳3,000 (৳2,000 profit + ৳1,000 original stake). The same odds in fractional format is 2/1, and in American format +200.
Favourites generally have lower odds — if Team B has odds of 1.25, fractional 1/4 or American -400, a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,250 (৳250 profit). Lower odds mean that team is considered stronger.

How to place single and multi bets
Clicking on the odds for any market automatically adds it to the bet slip. Keeping just one selection makes it a single bet. Once you enter the stake, the potential return is shown instantly.
Adding multiple selections makes it a multi bet or accumulator — the odds of all selections are multiplied together. For example, if three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.70 and 1.80, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.28 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳428 if all win — but if even one loses, the entire ৳100 is gone. Multi bets offer higher returns but carry higher risk.
The same rules apply to cricket match winner markets — if Team A is at 1.80 and Team B at 2.00, a ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,000 if Team B wins (৳500 profit), or you lose ৳500 if Team A wins.
After entering the stake on the slip, press the "Confirm Bet" button to submit the bet. It then appears in your open bets list.
If even one selection loses, the entire stake is lost.
The difference between betting on sports and casino games
crickex has two main betting sections — sports betting and casino games. In the sports section you can bet on pre-match and live markets; you use the bet slip to lock in a specific amount. The same principle applies on the betting exchange — BACK means betting for a team to win, LAY means betting for them to lose.
Betting on casino games works a little differently — you set your stake before each round and the game software determines the result. An example of a BACK bet on the exchange: a ৳500 bet on Team A at odds of 1.80 — if Team A wins you make ৳400 profit (before commission), if not you lose ৳500. With a LAY bet your liability is ৳400 (৳500 × 0.80) — if Team A does not win you earn ৳500, if they do win you pay ৳400.
How to view your open and settled bet history
After a bet is submitted, you can see its status under the "Open Bets" tab — which market, at what odds, how much was staked and the potential return. Once the event ends, the bet moves to the "Settled" section and shows Win or Loss based on the result.
Your settled bet history shows which markets you have bet on, how often, and the pattern of your spending. Checking your history regularly gives you a clear picture of your betting habits — which helps with budget control.
For live bets, odds can change while the match is in progress. If the odds change before your bet is confirmed, the system may show you the new odds and ask for confirmation.
